Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Parky (“Parky,” “we,” “us”), made by Nauta Ventures LLC, handles information when you use the Parky app, this website, and Parky’s hosted MCP connector.
What we collect

We do not sell your personal information.Parky does not use the App Tracking Transparency framework or use your information to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising.
Accounts and photo-library access
To create or access a private Parky account, you use Apple, Google, or an email code. Parky uses the resulting account identifier with our service providers where needed to keep your account, notifications, analytics, and subscription entitlement associated with the same Parky account. Parky does not create anonymous accounts in the released app.
Photo-library access is optional. If you choose to grant it, Parky reads photo metadata such as capture time and, when the photo has it, location to identify possible park visits. Parky stores identifiers and metadata for the visit records you choose to keep. Photo-library coordinates are not included in Parky’s product analytics.
AI connectors
When you ask a connected AI service to use Parky, that service sends the selected Parky tool name and its park-planning arguments to our hosted MCP connector. The first release does not receive your full chat, Parky account records, or private Pass data. Our proxy observes the connecting IP address and the connector stores a keyed hash for a current-day distinct-egress-IP count; it does not store the raw IP address in its quota database or limit requests by IP. The hashes are discarded after the UTC day ends. The connector retains daily aggregate counts of tool outcomes, rejected requests, latency, cache use, and distinct observed IP buckets. These aggregates do not include prompts, tool arguments, or IP hashes. The AI service handles your conversation under its own privacy policy and may use other sources in its final answer.
Email and text message alerts
Alerts reach you by push notification unless you choose otherwise. In Notifications, or on your Dining alerts page at parkypass.com, you can also choose to get alerts by email or text message. Text alerts start only after you enter a mobile number and confirm it from a link we text you. Message frequency varies with the alerts you set, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or HELP for help, and you can turn email or text alerts off in the app or on parkypass.com at any time.
We do not share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages, and only to deliver them. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Location
Parky may request device-location permission for location-based features, such as park-arrival reminders. The app uses that information on your device to provide the feature. Analytics events do not include your device coordinates. You can change or revoke this permission in iOS Settings.
Analytics, diagnostics, and session replay
We use a product-analytics provider for usage analytics, error reporting, and session replay. That provider receives the Parky account identifier, app and device context, and the usage and diagnostic data described above. Parky configures replay to mask text inputs, images, and sandboxed or system views; replay is used to understand app behavior and diagnose problems.
Embedded posts in Parky News
A Parky News story sometimes cites an official park announcement by embedding the post itself from the platform that published it, currently Instagram and Facebook. Loading that embed contacts the platform directly from your browser: the platform receives your IP address and may set or read its own cookies, under its privacy policy rather than this one. Parky does not send the platform your Parky account identifier. The embed loads only on story pages that cite such a post, and nowhere else on this website or in the app.
Service providers
Parky relies on a small number of service providers: one for account authentication, database storage, and app services; one for push-notification, email, and text-message delivery and related preferences; one for subscription purchase and entitlement management; and one for the analytics and diagnostics described above. Each receives only the information needed for its service. Apple processes App Store payments and our payment provider processes purchases made on parkypass.com; Parky does not receive your payment-card number. Retention and deletion
We keep account data while your account is active. You can delete your Parky account and its associated records in the app. Deletion does not cancel an App Store subscription, which you manage through Apple. Limited information may remain in backups for a short period or be retained where necessary for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
Your rights
Depending on your location, applicable law may give you choices about your personal information. To ask about your information or make a privacy request, contact support@parkypass.com.
Children
Parky is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy as Parky changes. We will revise the date above, and will provide notice in the app for material changes.
